The Porsche Taycan is the ultimate electric sports car with a range of up to 313 miles on a full charge and unparalleled performance. And so, this past weekend we decided to put this amazing EV model to the test with an adventure to the beautiful Scottish Highlands.
On Sunday 14 May, the team at Porsche Centre Perth were joined by some of our valued customers for our Spring Drive Out to the magnificent Cairngorm Mountain.
We started at the Centre for a ‘breakfast and briefing’ session before setting off on the scenic drive to the Cairngorm Mountain. With just over 200 miles of road to cover for the day's journey, this was the perfect opportunity for some of our guests to test drive the new Taycan and fully immerse themselves in the unrivalled experience of driving this iconic Porsche model.
This fantastic event was in partnership with Porsche Centre Aberdeen and so both centres arrived after the morning of enjoying the beautiful Scottish roads with their Porsche models to journey up the mountain together.
All guests then enjoyed a ride on the mountain train amongst the expansive Scottish scenery up to the UK’s highest restaurant, Ptarmigan Restaurant. Customers from both Porsche Centre Perth and Porsche Centre Aberdeen were treated to a meal followed by an immersive 270-degree screen experience to showcase more of the amazing Porsche Taycan.
We would like to thank the team at Cairngorm Mountain and Ptarmigan Restaurant for hosting us. And we would also like to thank all that attended, we look forward to seeing you at our future events coming this year.
*Data determined in accordance with the Worldwide Harmonized Light Vehicles Test Procedure (WLTP) as required by law. You can find more information on WLTP at www.porsche.com/wltp . For Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) range and Equivalent All Electric Range (EAER) figures are determined with the battery fully charged, using a combination of both battery power and fuel.
Values are provided for comparison only. To the extent that fuel and energy consumption or CO₂ values are given as ranges, these do not relate to a single, individual car and do not constitute part of the offer. Optional features and accessories can change relevant vehicle parameters such as weight, rolling resistance and aerodynamics which may result in a change in fuel or energy consumption and CO₂ values. Vehicle loading, topography, weather and traffic conditions, as well as individual driving styles, can all affect the actual fuel consumption, energy consumption, electrical range, and CO₂ emissions of a car.
